In Orem Utah the spring 2019 women's soccer team faced off against the UVU club team for the second time in the spring.
Again the scrimmage was very physical and played with a regular season mentality. The lone break through for either team on the day was when an errand back pass was intercepted by a UVU forward and put into the net past WWCC keeper Lindsey Lemmons in the 54th minute. The WWCC offense again just did not click but played very hard. WWCC keeper Markell Freeman recorded her 4th shutout half of the spring. Up Next for the Mustangs: Scrimmage Saturday April 27th versus Crush '02 club team in Layton Utah. This will be the final scrimmage of the 2019 spring season.
