Western Wyoming finished their spring 2019 scrimmage season when the played against the Crush '02 Club team at Northridge High in Layton UT.All respect to the young ladies from the Crush team they played very well and with an intensity that elevated the play of WWCC. The Mustang offense was still just missing some potency but managed 20 shots on the day with 14 being on frame.
Neither team was able to get on the scoreboard during the scrimmage. Markell Freeman and Lindsey Lemmons split time in goal again. Markell played the first 45 minutes and Lindsey played the final 45 minutes. Both ended their spring with another shutout.
Freshmen ending their first year for the Mustangs and preparing to be the WWCC leaders for 2019 are; Kylee Manning, Elyse Jacobsen, Abbie Riley, McKay Smith, Lizzy Clark, Taya Merrell and Markell Freeman.
Sophomore who are wrapping up their WWCC Mustang Career are; Kaitlyn Pryor, Emma Barnes, MaKayla Barnes, Maylee Thompson, Jaclyn Edwards, Jaden Auger, Claire Morales and Madeline Kendrick.
