On Friday night in Henderson Nevada the Mustangs faced off against the Lady Coyotes of Southern Nevada.
The Mustangs looked like a team who had played three times in three days. Making many mental errors while not being able to deliver the pressure necessary against a very well organized CSN team. The break through in the match came in the first half when CSN scored in the 40th minute to take a 1 - 0 lead into the break.
In the second half WWCC showed more offense while improving defensively. Sadly, a CSN goal in the 70th minute would prove to be the nail in the coffin for WWCC. The final score being 2 to 0 in favor of the Lady Coyotes. The setback brings the WWCC record for 2018 down to 0 - 2 - 0. Both Madeline Kendrick and Lindsey Lemmons played played a half of the match, with Madeline starting the match.
Mustang Valuable Player: Abbie Riley - Abbie was consistent throughout the match in both effort and performance. Has proven herself to be a starter at the outside back position.
