Jordan Gibson from Ogden UT and Roy High School has again signed a National Letter of Intent to play college soccer at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs WY.
Gibson was a center midfield player for the Mustangs in her freshman year. Jordan was a starter for the 2016 Western Wyoming Community College team and amassed the following stats; 18 Shots, 1 Goal, 1 Assist, 45 Fouls, 21 Starts and 45 Halves Played. During the 2016 -2017 off-season Jordan tore her ACL and had to take a medical red-shirt year for the 2017-2018 season.
Her rehabilitation from her knee injury has gone well and she was ready to practice and play during the spring of 2018 season. Jordan started the majority of the spring 2018 scrimmages as a center midfield player. Jordan provides a toughness in the midfield and does well as a protector of the back line and a distributor to the front line. She is a welcome addition to the 2018 Mustang Soccer team.
As a student Jordan does a great job. She earned a place on the Spring 2018 Dean's Honor Roll. Gibson is on track to graduate from Western Wyoming with her Associates Degree in December of 2018.
Western is excited to see Jordan again suit up in the Red, Black and White. She is a great soccer player who has the ability to bring experience and grit to the team. Jordan is an exceptional teammate and is a friend to all of her Mustang sisters. Welcome back Jordan Gibson!
