Jaden Auger a Western Wyoming Mustang
Jaden Auger from South Weber Utah and a soon to be graduate of Northridge High School will pursue her educational goals and play women's soccer at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs WY.
Jaden is an excellent student, she has earned a 3.9 GPA while at Northridge High School. She was a member of National Junior's Honor Society. At Western Jaden is thinking of getting her Associates Degree in Secondary Education.
Auger was a 4 year letter winner for the Lady Knight of Northridge High. Jaden scored 3 goals in her career for NHS, she mainly played as a central defender. Auger participated in the UHSAA 5A state soccer tournament two years with her NHS team and teammates. Twice Jaden received post season recogniction while at Northridge. In 2015, Jaden was an All State Honorable Mention player and in 2016, Auger was an All Region Honorable Mention player.
Jaden was also a member of the L30 Crush Blue Team that won the National President's Cup in 2014. Auger will join several of her club team teammates at WWCC; Emma Barnes, Jaclyn Edwards, Kaitlyn Pryor and Makayla Barnes. We hope that their experience together will help them out as soon as they get to Rock Springs in August and start to compete for starting positions and playing time.
As we saw Jaden in tryout situations some of her talents that stuck out were her; calmness on the ball, command on the field and distribution. She may very well be a player who pushes for a starting center back position for Western come August but we also know that she could do very well as a holding center midfielder and could be an outstanding outside back. We are so happy to have such an amazing person, student and soccer player choose to come to Western.
