Early Goal is all that Northwest Needs to Win vs WWCC

On Saturday at Rock Springs Junior High the Mustangs hosted the Lady Trappers of Northwest College.

The Lady Trappers scored off of a free kick in the 20th minute from about 22 yards away for the lone goal of the match.

The Mustang offense seemed to be on tired legs from the double overtime match the day before.  The midfield and the defense from WWCC did a good job of limiting chances and opportunities from the Lady Trappers.

The loss drops the Mustang record to 4 - 8 - 1 and Region IX tally to 3 - 4 - 1.

Mustang Valuable Player:  Clarissa Barton for her hustle and steady play in the midfield.
