In Powell WY on Friday the Mustangs conceded two second half goals to find themselves on the wrong end of the scoreboard at the end of 90 minutes.It was a game that the WWCC Mustangs did not look to play their best but had enough left in the tank to take a late first half lead when Madisyn Cantrell scored off of a long pass from Britney Merritt. WWCC lead 1 to 0 at the 45 minute break.
In the second half the Lady Trappers would score in the 60th and 88th minutes to earn the victory over the Mustangs. The final score was NWC 2 and WWCC 1. The Mustang record is now 1 - 2 - 0 on the young 2016 season and 0 - 1 - 0 in Region IX play.
