Brooke Foster who hails from Daniel Wyoming, recently graduated from A Beka Academy and finished her playing career at Pinedale High, has committed to attend Western Wyoming and play women's college soccer for the Mustangs.

In four years of playing for Pinedale High she lettered 3 times.  During her high school career she played a variety of positions including sweeper, other defensive positions and finished as a striker her final two seasons for PHS.  She received a Soccer Sportsmanship Award her sophomore and senior campaigns.
Both in her junior and senior season Brooke was awarded Player of the Match for her high school.  During her first three years of high school she earned the Most Hustle Award from PHS and after her senior season she received the Fastest Pressure Award.  There were four matches during her senior year that Brooke was named captain for her team.  Pinedale Lady Wranglers soccer made it to the 2016 3A Wyoming State Soccer Cup, the first time they had done so in five seasons.

Brooke is also a competitive figure skater. She lettered four times in figure skating. She also earned her U.S. Figure Skating Silver Level Achievement.  Along with being a great athlete Foster has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and been on the Presidential Honor Roll. She enjoys playing the guitar, weight lifting, hunting, fishing, hiking, boating, and spending time with her family and friends.

Brooke came to Western for a tryout in the spring.  She was also scouted during a jamboree early in the 2016 spring soccer season.  We at Western were very impressed with her size, speed, toughness and athletic ability.  Brooke is fearless when she plays and gives her all always.  These traits will help her transition into the college game quickly.  We see Brooke being a very versatile player for the Mustangs this fall.  We can see Brooke sprinting as a forward, controlling possession as an outside mid or directing the defense as a center back.  Regardless of where she plays this fall, we are happy to have Brooke Foster as a member of the 2016 Mustang Soccer team.
