On Friday in Rock Springs WY the Mustangs played against one of their oldest rivals the Laramie County CC Lady Golden Eagles. The LCCC team set the tone early on the match and were relentless with their pressure and physical play.
The LCCC team scored 12 goals on the day, netting 6 goals each half. Western was not able to score but was able to mount more offense then the last time the two teams faced off in Cheyenne.
Mustang Valuable Player: Heather Proctor - Even though we scoreboard was lopsided, Heather never quit and worked through very physical play from the opposition and continued to lead her team.
