Less than 24 hours after an embarrassing loss the Western Wyoming Women faced their other oldest rival Western Nebraska at Rock Springs WY. Playing much better then against LCCC the Mustangs sadly feel behind again in the 1st half. Giving up three scores to the Lady Cougars in the first 45 minutes.
The Mustangs continued to improve play and work hard for themselves and their teammates. The Lady Cougars scored one more goal in the second half. Leaving the field on a high note Rachel Richards scored in the last moments of the match when she was passed the ball from Rachel Haskell and lofted the ball over the top of the WNCC keeper. On the final match for Western on the season the final score was WNCC 4 - WWCC 1.
