Marisol Castillo will again don the soccer jerseys of Western Wyoming Community College as she has committed to play her sophomore season for the Mustangs.

Marisol is a 2014 graduate from Rock Springs High in Rock Springs WY.  As a freshman with the Mustangs Marisol played in 14 of 16 matches, starting 3 of the matches that she played in.  On the season she had 1 goal and recorded 1 assist earning 3 offensive points.  For the 2014 season Castillo had 5 shots with two of those five shots being on frame.

The assist for Marisol came against USU-Eastern which tied the match.  She was also injured on the play.  The injury resulted in several stitched on her knee.

That play epitomizes the heart and desire of Marisol.  She plays striker and provides constant pressure on the back line of the opposition.  She plays with a wreck-less abandon which makes her a persistent threat to the other team.  She makes plays every match that are a result of her hustle and pressure.

We hope that Marisol will be able to play many minutes for the Mustangs and provide a spark for the offense whether she is a starter or in a reserve role.

Marisol is a Criminal Justice major.  Her mother is Maria, her siblings are; Laura, Victor, Felix, Alex and her son's name is Liam.  Congrats and welcome back to the Mustangs Marisol.
