Laura Silva Rodriguez is set to join the Western Wyoming Community College Women's Soccer team for the fall 2015 season.  Laura played with the Mustangs last fall 2014 season.  She is a 2014 graduate from Rock Springs High in Rock Springs WY.

Laura played in 14 games as a freshmen.  Laura was used as a defender mainly during her first year.  She was also used as a sub in a lot of positions on the pitch as the 2014 season progressed and the numbers of the Mustangs dwindled due to injury.

Her versatility is a plus but we see Laura more than likely getting minutes on the field as a defender, either a central defender or an outside back.  But she has the experience and some of the skills to give the team minutes in the midfield and as a striker.

Laura is a Psychology major while here at Western Wyoming.  She is a wonderful teammate and definitely brings a positive energy and camaraderie  to the team.  We look forward to having her as a teammate again.  Her parents are Nancy and Ruben, her sibling is Cristhian.  Laura is originally from Colombia.
