M'Kynlee Gillins a sophomore will play again for the Western Wyoming Mustang team.  M'Kynlee played in all 16 matches for the 2014 Mustangs.  She started in 11 matches and took 2 shots on the season.  M'Kynlee was used as a center back and also an outside back throughout the season.

Gillins has played soccer most of her life, dating back to her days as a child in Utah playing AYSO.  Those playing days resulted in winning the Utah Summer games for her age group.

M'Kynlee and her family moved to Evanston WY, she started her high school playing career at EHS.  She was a starting defender as a sophomore for the Lady Red Devils before a knee injury ended her season.

As a junior the family moved again to Rock Springs WY where she played as a midfielders as a junior for the Lady Tigers.  As a senior for RSHS she was moved back to a defender. M'Kynlee was a 2 time letter winner for the Lady Tigers.

M'Kynlee is currently recovering from some off season injuries but is expected to be ready to play and train with the Mustangs come August.

Gillins' versatility and toughness will benefit the Mustangs this coming season as she will look to find minutes on the field as an outside back, a member of the midfield or a center back.

Good luck on your recovery M'Kynlee and being ready to add to the Mustangs from the start of training camp and throughout the whole 2015 season.

M'Kynlee is a Physical Therapy Major at WWCC.  Her parents are  Dellene and Kurtis and her sibling are Chase and Kameren.
