Bricia Thornburg will return for her second year to wear the Red, White and Black of the Western Wyoming Women's Soccer Team.

Bricia had a good freshman season for the Mustangs playing in all 16 matches and starting twice.  Thornburg also was credited with 2 shots during the 2014 season.  As a freshmen Bricia usually played as a center back.  As a sophomore she will probably also be mainly used as a centerback but possesses the foot skills and speed to play as a center midfield and an outside back if needed.

Bricia grew up in Oregon Illinois where she played for the Hawks soccer team at Oregon High.  She played for OHS her freshman and sophomore year in school.  She was co-captain for the Hawks her sophomore year.  While in Illinois she also played for Freeport Fire Club.  Bricia was a letter winner her sophomore season.

Thornburg later moved to Green River Wyoming and played for the 2012 Green River Lady Wolves team.  Bricia is a nursing major at Western Wyoming Community College.

Bricia is expected to help bolster a strong backline for the Mustangs as they try to keep the opposing team off of the scoreboard in the 2015 season.
