Heather Proctor Anchoring the Backline for the Mustangs Again

Photos Courtesy of Heather Proctor and WWCC
Heather Proctor a sophomore at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs WY has signed her National Letter of Intent to continue to play for the Mustang soccer team.

Heather was a big part of the Mustangs her freshman season as she started 15 of the 16 matches and played in all 16 matches.  Proctor did have 1 shot on the season.  Heather is a defender playing mainly as a center back.  Heather has shown great skill, leadership and toughness as one of the defensive leaders for the 2014 Mustangs.

We believe that Heather will be a building block from the previous season that we can rely on and build upon.  Her combination of size and speed will help bolster the WWCC back line during her sophomore year.

Proctor played for Utah Glory Soccer Club during her high school career.  Heather was a club teammate with current Western Wyoming Mustang Josie Wiscomb.

Even though Proctor did not play for the Lady Hawks while enrolled at Alta High School she was a great student.  Heather was on the Honor Roll throughout her time in at AHS.  She graduated with an advanced diploma from Alta High School.

Proctor said, "I played for the mustangs this passed year and enjoyed it.  I love my teammates and look forward to another year with them."

Heather is a Pre-Med Major while at Western Wyoming.  Her parents are; Renae and Marcus and her siblings are Kyle, Eric and Jenna.

We are excited to have Heather again wear the Mustang jersey and represent herself, her teammates and team well on and off the field.
