The Mustangs opened up the scoring quickly in the match when Hayden Rupe scored from a Lizzy Clark assist in the 2nd minute of play. Karly Conolly got the second goal of the match in the 21st minute with an assist going to Cassie Southwick and Abbie Riley. Kylee Manning continued the offensive explosion from Western Wyo when she scored in the 36th minute, Taya Merrell provided the assist. Just one minute later Karly Conolly added her second goal of the match, in the 37th minute. The halftime score was lopsided for the Mustangs, WWCC 4 - CWC 0.
In the second half the Mustangs did not relent from their offensive onslaught. In the 49th minute Kylee Manning scored her second goal of the match and Abbie Riley getting her second assist of the match also. Cassie Southwick scored in the 57th minute, she was provided with the ball by Karly Conolly. Almost thirty minutes would pass before Lexi Chenoweth scored her first goal for the Mustangs in the 84th minute the assist coming from Kloe Swallow. The final goal of the match was from Abbie Riley in the 88th minute of play, Taya Merrell getting her second assist of the day. The final score on the day was WWCC 8 - CWC 0. The win improves the 2019 Mustang record to 2 - 0 - 0.On the defensive end, the Mustangs welcomed back Markell Freeman in as keeper who picked up the shutout win with 2 saves.
