#17 Snow too much for WWCC in Rock Springs

On Tuesday in Rock Springs at Rock Springs Junior High the Mustangs squared off against Snow College Lady Badgers who are currently ranked #17 in the NJCAA polls.

Snow was very meticulous in their build up and attack on the day and it took a lot of the possession that WWCC had been accustomed too in earlier matches.  All of Snow's possession did not turn into any goals until the 40th minute when Snow opened up the scoring.  Madeline Kendrick in goal did a great job of seeing the Snow attack before it started and making 7 saves in the half.  The half time score was 1 to 0 in favor of Snow.

In the second half the Badgers made their necessary changes to find holes in the WWCC defense and scored twice early in the half to take a 30 to 0 lead, the Snow goals were in the 46th and 49th minute.  The Lady Badger added one more goal to make the final score 4 to 0, the last goal was scored in the 70th minute.  The loss for WWCC brings the overall record down to 1 - 2 - 0 on the 2017 season.

Mustang Valuable Player:  Madeline Kendrick who played the 1st half, had 7 saves and kept the Mustangs in the match.
