2019 WWCC Recruit - Kloe Swallow

Western Wyoming is pleased to announce the commitment of Kloe Swallow to the Mustang Soccer team.  Kloe will be a 2019 graduate from Syracuse High in Syracuse Utah.

Kloe earned two letters playing for the Syracuse High School Soccer Team. The Titans were the 6A Region Champions and State in the fall of 2018. Sadly, Kloe missed her senior year of soccer due to ankle surgery.

On the club level, Kloe plays for Nitro.  Swallow and the Nitro team compete at the Premier 1 level.  She serves as a team captain. Recent achievements with Nitro include being a finalist in the 2018 US Soccer Regional President’s Cup held in Salt Lake City, Utah. Playing with Nitro, Kloe has given fierce competition to the best teams in the nation and State of Utah.

Born in Albany, Oregon and raised in Clinton, Utah, Kloe has been playing soccer since she was four years old with her focus in the outside back and outside midfield positions.

After 14 years, Kloe’s passion for soccer continues to grow. Soccer has taught her hard work, dedication, responsibility, leadership, and rewarded her with lasting friendships.

Swallow seeks every opportunity to serve those around her. Kloe celebrates four years with the National Honor Society and during the summer of 2018, she participated in humanitarian service in Costa Rica. Kloe is an avid runner and has run the Ogden Half Marathon for the past two years.

Kloe is grateful for the support of her family and friends, especially her parents who have attended every game, rain or shine. Kloe would like to thank her Coach, Chris Simmons, for all he has taught her both on and off the field. She comments, “Coach Chris has helped to make me the person I am today. He has taught me to be a good sport, to always be early, and to push myself to achieve my goals. Playing with Nitro and Coach Chris has prepared me to play at the next level.”

Kloe is excited for the opportunity to play soccer at Western Wyoming and attend school there. She plans to become a speech and language pathologist.
