Madeline Kendrick from Hooper Utah as signed her National Letter of Intent to continue her soccer career at Western Wyoming Community College.
Maddy had a stellar freshman year that was cut a month short when she suffered an ankle injury in the match at Powell WY. During her first year with the Mustangs Madeline compiled the following stats; 35 Saves, 17 Goals Allowed, 67.3 % Save Percentage, 6 Starts, 13 Halves Played, 1 Assist and 2 Shutouts.
Kendrick is a good student just recently being named to the WWCC Spring 2018 Dean's Honor Roll. Maddy is on track to graduate in May of 2019 with an Associates from Western Wyoming CC.
In the off-season Madeline was able to recover from her injury and get herself in soccer shape. In the spring scrimmage season Kendrick was the primary keeper used by the WWCC team. In the spring of 2018 Maddy had 14 saves, allowed 1 goal a 93.33% save percentage. She was the keeper as the team won 3 of the 4 spring scrimmages. Maddy had 3 shutouts this spring.
As a sophomore we expect continued great play from Maddy as a keeper. She is a great ambassador for the WWCC soccer team as a person, student and athlete. So glad to have Madeline Kendrick as a Mustang again.
