Makenzie Millward from Lehi Utah and a soon to be graduate of Lehi High has signed her National Letter of Intent to play collegiate women's soccer at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs WY.
Makenzie came to a tryout at WWCC in the winter and impressed the coaching staff with her soccer and athletic abilities. She had an impressive 40 yard dash time and showed great quickness. Millward impressed in her tryout after a slow start. She has a good left foot and an nose for the goal and how to get into the attack.
Makenzie played with the Lady Pioneers of Lehi High and was a two year letter winner. Her senior year with LHS, Makenzie scored two goals. Makenzie helped her high school team to a 4A state tournament appearance. She was also voted as her team MVP during her sophomore year.
Makenzie also played club soccer with Utah Arsenal SC. We at Western
Wyoming believe that Makenzie could play a couple of roles with the
2018 Mustang team. With her good speed and left foot she could fit in
well as an outside/left sided forward. Millward might also find time as an outside midfielder as a future Mustang.
Makenzie is also a great student and has achieved honor roll every year since her 7th grade year. Congrats to Makenzie in signing with WWCC and good luck to her in her future with the Mustang Soccer team.
