Claire Cobabe Signs with the Mustangs

Claire Cobabe from Malad Idaho and a soon to be graduate from Bear River High has signed her National Letter of Intent to play college soccer for the Mustangs of Western Wyoming Community College.

Claire has played soccer for 12 years of her life.  She has played as a center midfielder and a center back. She came to the Western Wyoming campus during the winter and showed off her athletic ability and soccer skills.

Cobabe played at two different high schools in her career, during her freshman year she made the Southeastern Idaho All Area Team.  This team includes schools and players from all divisions of SE Idaho schools (1A - 5A).  Her final years of high school were played at Bear River High in Garland UT.  Cobabe was voted as a defensive MVP for her team.

Besides playing with her high school teams Claire also played with the Logan Lynx club team.  While attending a soccer camp at Idaho State University she was voted as the MVP of the ISU soccer camp.

Along with being an outstanding soccer player Cobabe is also a tremendous student who has maintained a 3.9 GPA during her high school days.  A feat that Claire is also very proud of is being the youngest finisher ever in the Pony Express 50 mile trail run.

Western Wyoming is very excited to have Claire Cobabe join our soccer family and tradition for the years to come.
