Kelsey Moffitt has transferred to Western Wyoming Community College to be a part of the Women's Soccer program for the Mustangs.
Kelsey played the 2016 NJCAA season with the Lady Trappers from Northwest College in Powell Wyoming. While at NWC Kelsey started 3 matches and played in 10 matches total as a defender for the Lady Trappers.
Kelsey graduated from Green River High in Green River WY in 2016. Moffitt was a huge part of the GRHS soccer success. Kelsey helped the GRHS girls soccer team to 1 second
place finish in 4A West regular season and 2 first place 4A West
regular season finishes. Moffitt and the Lady Wolves were
runners-up in the 4A West Regional tournament twice and the 2013 4A
West Regional tournament champions. GRHS participated in the 4A
Wyoming State Soccer Cup three of four years with Kelsey, their best finish in 2015 winning the Consolation Championship.
Some of Kelsey's high school accolades were; being named to three 4A West 1st Team All Conference teams (2014, 2015, 2016) and being named to three 4A All State teams (1st team - 2015, 2nd team - 2014, 2016). In her high school career Moffitt scored 6 goals and added 2 assists while playing primarily as a defender.
Kelsey will most likely be either an outside defender or a central defender for the Mustangs during her sophomore season in 2017. She possesses the speed and the ability to score so we know that she could be used in other positions on the pitch for the Red and Black. We are so happy to have her a part of what we are growing at Western Wyo Women's Soccer.
