Rylee Blacker Minding the Nets for Mustangs Again

Rylee Blacker a returning sophomore for Western Wyoming will once again play for the Mustang soccer team.  Rylee is a 2015 graduate from Spanish Fork High School in Spanish Fork UT.

Rylee played every minute of every match for the Mustangs as a freshman.  Her stats were amazing as she had one of the best seasons in Mustang goal keeper history.  Blacker's stats for 2015-2016 season were; 170 Saves, 71.1% Save Percentage, 19 Starts, 38 Halves Played, and had 3 Shutouts.  Her first season was #3 on the single season saves list for the Mustangs.  Blacker is currently #4 on the career list of saves for the Mustangs.  Blacker also took care of business in the classroom earning the NJCAA Exemplary Academic Achievement award and Academic All Conference award.

This spring scrimmage season saw a lot of growth for Rylee as she continue to led the Mustangs in the goal.  Rylee had 41 saves as she helped the Mustangs win two of their 3 spring scrimmages.

As a sophomore in the 2016-2017 season we know that Rylee will continue to develop and use her athleticism and keeper skills to be one of the all-time great goal keepers with Western Wyoming.  Congrats and looking forward to a great sophomore year from Rylee Blacker.
