Jordan Gibson joins the 2016 Mustang Recruiting Class

Jordan Gibson a current senior from Roy High has signed her National Letter of Intent to play NJCAA Women's Soccer at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs WY.

Jordan is a midfielder who has the versatility to play as an attacking mid, an outside midfielder and even a defensive mid.  Gibson impressed the Western Wyoming coaching staff and current players during an open tryout in January on the WWCC campus.  We were impressed with her touch on the ball, passing abilities and her offensive movement/runs off of the ball.

Four of the returning players for the 2016 Mustangs will be midfielders but Jordan has enough skill, speed and talent to push for playing time and a starting position from the start of her freshman year.

Gibson played for the Roy Lady Royals and lettered three times, her sophomore through senior year.  She was a captain for RHS her senior season.  Jordan also played for La Roca and Outlaw soccer teams.  She has plenty of experience and ability and makes the 2016 WWCC soccer team better.  We are so excited to have such a wonderful student athlete to join us and make us a better team in the years to come.
