Nicole Tew from Farmington UT and a 2015 graduate of Viewmont High has recently signed her National Letter of Intent to play soccer for Western Wyoming Community College.
Nicole was a member of Forza Futbol Club teams for many years. She also played for the Lady Vikings of Viewmont High her junior year of high school in 2013. The VHS team in fall of 2013 played for the 5A Utah State Championship, falling to Brighton High by 1 - 0 in Rio Tinto Stadium.
Tew had a good tryout on the Western Wyoming campus showing off good positioning, instincts, size, skill and speed. Nicole will use her gifts most likely as a central defender for the Mustangs but could easily transition into the midfield or even as a striker.
Nicole will study Nursing while a student athlete at Western Wyoming. Her parents are Craig and Shelley. The other Tew family children are; Crystal, Ethan and Bryan. We expect a tough, hard working soccer player when Nicole makes her way to campus in August with the rest of the Mustang team. She should push herself and her teammates to be the best that they can be. Congratulations to Nicole in reaching the goal of continuing her soccer career past high school
