On Tuesday in Rock Springs the Mustangs hosted the Lady Trapper from Northwest College.  This was the Mustang's four game in six days.

Again the Mustangs started a little slow on the offensive end and strong on the defensive side for the first portion of the match.  But in the 20th minute Lexi Chenoweth started the scoring with an assist from Abbie Riley.  In the 33rd minute Karly Conolly kept the Western Wyo scoring going with an assist from Lexi Chenoweth.  In the final minute of the half, Kylee Manning scored off of an assist by Hayden Rupe.  The Mustangs would lead by 3 goals at the halftime break.

In the second half the Mustangs continued to see much more of the ball than the Trappers and generated more shots than NWC.  The second half scoring kicked off in the 70th minute when Lexi Chenoweth scored her second goal of the match with the assist going to Kylee Manning.  In the 84th minute of play Abbie Riley scored the final goals for the Mustangs with a Lizzy Clark assist.  The final score after 90 minutes of play was WWCC 5 - NWC 0.  The victory raises the 2019 overall record for the Mustangs to 3 - 1 - 0.  Markell Freeman is credited with another shutout win, McKay Smith a captain and starting centerback sat out of the match to recover from a lower leg injury.

Mustang Valuable Player: Lexi Chenoweth - Lexi had a brace (2 goals) and an assist on the day.  5 offensive points in one match is a good day indeed.
