2019 Mustang - Rhylee Freeman - Morgan Utah

Rhylee Freeman will join the Western Wyoming Mustang Women's Soccer team.  Freeman has recently graduated from Morgan High in Morgan Utah.

Rhylee's high school career was full of success on a personal note and as a team.  Rhylee was a four time letter winner for Morgan High.  During her freshman and sophomore years the MHS team advanced to the UHSAA 3A State Tournament while losing to teams from St. George Utah in the quarterfinals.  Freeman's last two season saw the same team success a 3A State Championship.  Rhylee scored the opening goal in the 2017 state championship on a header from a corner kick in the 3rd minute of play.  At the end of the 2017 season Rhylee had tallied 14 goals with more than half of them being headers.  She was named to the the First Team All State along with being First Team All Region.  An injury slowed her down in her senior year as she was only able to play in 6 matches.  Rhylee was still a big part of her team with the injury as she was a big support to her teammates.

Rhylee has played soccer for 14 years.  She has been a part of several different comp teams that include; Rampage, Morgan and Wasatch.  With these teams she has competed in many tournaments and found success multiple times, winning the Vegas Cup in 2017 along with some Runners-Up in these competitions.

Academics are another strength for Rhylee as she has kept a GPA of 3.7 throughout her high school career.

At Western we are excited to add Rhylee to the squad.  She will be a force to be reckoned with in the years to come.  We truly believe she will make an impact on the team right away as either a forward or even in the midfield.  She plays with an enormous work rate and is not afraid to challenge any ball in the air or on the ground.  Welcome to the Western Wyo Mustang family.
