Claire Morales Newest Addition to 2017 Mustangs

Claire Morales has signed a National Letter of Intent to play college soccer at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs WY.  Claire was a 2016 graduate from Westlake High School in Saratoga Springs UT.

Morales played 4 years of varsity soccer while a member of the Thunder soccer team at Westlake High.  Claire was a starter during her junior and senior years (fall of 2014 and 2015).

As a junior, Claire was named the WHS offensive MVP.  During her high school career she is credited with 3 goals.  Along with playing soccer for the Thunder of WHS, Morales also ran track during her freshman and sophomore years.

Celtic was the team she played with during her last season of comp play.  Sadly Claire tore her ACL about halfway through that season.  This injury kept her from competing right after graduation.  She was unable to compete until May 2017.

Claire is a good student, who completed 20 college credits while in high school and graduated on the high school honor roll.  At Western Wyoming she will be majoring in Business & Accounting.

Western plans on Claire being a part of the Mustang attack while on the field.  Claire will be used as a midfielder or an outside forward.  Her recovery from injury has gone well and we believe that her hard work at rehab and fitness will pay off with a great upcoming season for Claire and the Mustangs.
