Soon to be freshmen for the Mustangs have had a busy spring with many playing on club and high school teams.
Jaclyn Edwards, Jaden Auger, Kaitlyn Pryor, Emma Barnes and MaKayla Barnes all played on their U19 club team in the UT 2017 Spring State Cup. The L30 Crush Blue G98 team finished second in their group at the cup and won their semi-final match. Sadly the team fell in the State Cup championship match but still qualified for a tournament later on in the summer in Seattle.
Maylee Thompson from Star Valley High in Wyoming helped her team to a 3A Southwest quadrant regular season championship and into the 3A Wyoming State Soccer Cup. SVHS with Maylee won the Consolation Championship winning two matches in the weekend.
It was also just announced that Maylee was named to the 3A West All Conference 1st Team. Thompson was also named to the Wyoming 3A All State 1st Team.
Congrats to all these incoming freshmen and their accomplishments on the field.
