Syracuse Keeper Now a Mustang

Lindsey Lemmons a soon to be graduate of Syracuse High School in Syracuse Utah has signed her National Letter of Intent to play collegiate soccer at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs WY.

Lindsey plays as a goalkeeper.  She shared video with the WWCC coaching staff and came for an individual tryout in the spring of 2016.  Lindsey shows great skill in many aspects of goalkeeping and shows great potential to continue to grow to a great overall keeper.  Lemmons show good distribution both with her foot, drop kick and throws.  Her shot stopping ability could be one of her best qualities.

Lemmons played for Syracuse High School's soccer team for three years; her sophomore, junior and senior seasons.  She lettered both her junior and senior year for SHS.  Lindsey was part of the Lady Titan teams that made the 5A UHSAA Soccer playoffs both in 2015 and 2016.

In club soccer Lindsey played many years for Wasatch Club Soccer and has continued to play more recently with the solo comp team Rayados.

Lindsey and the other keeper that WWCC will sign have big shoes to fill as Western Wyoming graduates Rylee Blacker who leaves with every goalkeeping record for the Mustangs.  We are sure that our keepers in 2017, including Lindsey Lemmons, will be up to the task to help Western Wyo continue their tradition of fine goal keeping.
