In the fourteenth minute of play Porter Brown scored from a Karly Conolly assist to get the Mustangs on the scoreboard. In the 31st minute Cassie Southwick score unassisted to double the Western Wyo lead. The score at the break was WWCC 2 and CNCC 0.
The second half of play could have been called Lizzy Clark's half as the striker from Idaho scored three goals at the beginning of the second half. The first Clark goal came in the 48th minute with an assist from Graisy Greener, the second Clark goal was in the 55th minute from a Kylee Manning pass. The end of the hat trick for Lizzy Clark was scored in the 59th minute of play with another assist being credited to Kylee Manning. So after 14 minutes of play in the second half, Lizzy Clark had already scored a hat trick. The Mustangs would score three more time in the second half including the first WWCC brace for Lexi Chenoweth, her goals coming in the 65th and 70th minutes being assisted by Hayden Rupe and Alison Boman respectively. And the final goal being the first collegiate goal for Kloe Swallow in the 80th minute of play. The final score after 90 minutes of play was WWCC 8 and CNCC 0. The fourth straight win for the Mustangs brings their overall record up to 7 - 4 - 0 in the 2019 season. This win also marks the 6th shutout victory for the Mustangs on the season, including the 5th shutout win for
Markell Freeman in 2019.
