Much like the first encounter the Mustangs established their dominance early. Karly Conolly scored in the 5th minute of play from a Porter Brown assist to start the Mustang offense. In the 13th minute of play Karly Conolly scored her second goal with the assist going to Kylee Manning. The first half scoring was not done as the Mustangs added two more goals before the break, Michaelee Wisniewski scored a free kick goal in the 21st minute of play to extend the lead 3 - 0. In the 27th minute of play Lexi Chenoweth scored from another Porter Brown assist. The halftime score was WWCC 4 and CWC 0.
The second half was not much different as the Western Wyo team continued to attack and find chances while the Rustlers struggled to keep the ball. Karly Conolly scored her third goal of the match in the 57th minute. The Mustangs were so close on many occasions to add to the lead, especially Kylee Manning and Lizzy Clark. In the 87th minute Karly Conolly scored once more with an assist coming from Kylee Manning. The final score at the end of 90 minutes was WWCC 6 and CWC 0. This was another shutout victory for Markell Freeman and the WWCC defense. Alison Boman saw action on the field today, her first time to play for WWCC in over a month as she recovered from an injury. The win improves the Western Wyo overall record to 4 - 4 - 0 and the Region IX record to 1 - 2 - 0.
