On Saturday in Rock Springs WY the 2018 edition of the Western Wyoming Community College Mustangs faced off against the Alumni of the WWCC. The final score on the scrimmage was 4 to 1.
Sophomores who started their second season for the Mustangs were; Lindsey Lemmons, Jordan Gibson, Kaitlyn Pryor, Emma Barnes, MaKayla Barnes, Maylee Thompson, Jaclyn Edwards, Jaden Auger, Claire Morales and Madeline Kendrick.
Freshmen who wore the Red, White and Black for the first time were; Kylee Manning, Elyse Jacobsen, Abbie Riley, Kaylee Giles, McKay Smith, Makenzie Millward, Lizzy Clark, Taya Merrell and Markell Freeman.
In the goal all three keepers saw 45 minutes, as they also played a half for the alumni team.
Goals on the day were scored by Maylee Thompson, Kylee Manning, Lizzy Clark and Emma Barnes. Assists were provided from Kaylee Giles, Claire Morales, Elyse Jacobsen and Maylee Thompson.
For the Alumni the following players were present; Odalis Hernandez, Lu Sweet, Aly Sweet, Rylee Blacker, Melia Dayley, Heather Proctor, Maddy Case, Morgynn Hall, Britney Nisson, Brooke Foster, Madisyn Cantrell, Vanesa Ramirez, Jessica Arevalo, Izzy Gutierrez, Josie Wiscomb and Kelsey Moffitt.
