6 v 6 Springball a Day to Help Western Wyoming Grow

On Saturday the spring 2016 Western Wyoming Women's soccer team traveled to Cheyenne Wyoming and competed in the 6 vs 6 spring ball games.

The 2016 Spring team was divided into two fairly even teams.  WWCC team number 1 consisted of - Maya Perrin, M'Kynlee Gillins, Aly Sweet, Marlee Child, Katelin Nielsen, MKenzie Safford, Melia Dayley and Isabel Gutierrez as keeper.

The Western Wyoming team number 2 was - Rachel Richards, Rachel Haskell, Josie Wiscomb, Heather Proctor, Maddie Case, Shantay Robinson, Isabel Gutierrez and Rylee Blacker as their keeper.

Each team played four :30 minute games.  Each team played against two teams from Western Nebraska Community College and two teams from the host school LCCC Lady Golden Eagles.

There were many moments when the Mustangs played well as a team but struggled again with the same finishing problems as in the fall.

The lone WWCC goal of the day was scored by MKenzie Safford and assisted by Aly Sweet.  This is the last planned spring date for the Mustangs at the moment.  However, plans are being explored to play some sort of alumni scrimmage in Rock Springs on April 23.  Details will be announced when they are finalized.
