Jessica Arevalo a WWCC Mustang

 Jessica Arevalo a senior for Layton Christian Academy in Utah has signed her National Letter of Intent to play Women's soccer for Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs WY.

Jessica is an outside defender who enjoys finding spaces out wide and getting into the attack.  She possesses good speed, a great shot, nice crossing ability and a nose for the goal.  While at LCA, Jessica was a captain for the Eagles for two seasons.  As a senior Jessica scored 12 goals for LCA while playing as a defender.

Arevalo also plays club soccer.  Jessica plays for Strikers.  With Strikers Soccer Club she has also been a two year captain.

   Jessica was a participant in an open tryout at Western in January.  She impressed the coaching staff and current players with her tenacity, touch and ability.  Jessica definitely fills a need for the Mustangs as an outside back.  Her skills and abilities to go forward while still playing defense will be showcased from the beginning with her playing time at Western.  Congrats Jessica and welcome to the Mustang Soccer Family and Tradition.
