Michaelee Wisniewski from GRHS to WWCC

Michaelee Wisniewski a recently graduated senior from Green River High School in Green River Wyoming has committed to play college soccer for the Mustangs of Western Wyoming.

Michaelee started all four years of her high school career for the GRHS Lady Wolves as a center back.  During the spring of her junior year Wisniewski was named to the All Region 4A West 2nd Team for her play.  This most recent season, her senior season, Michaelee was named to the 1st Team 4A West All Region team and was also named to the 2nd Team 4A All State Team.  During her final year she was also honored to be voted a team captain for GRHS Soccer.  Michaelee was part of the 2017 GRHS soccer team that qualified for the WHSAA State Soccer Cup.  Her senior year was one of her better years individually, she was part of two shutout victories and tallied an assist.

Soccer is not the only sport that Michaelee played while in high school.  She also suited up three years for the GRHS Lady Wolves volleyball team.

Academics and extra curricular activities are a priority for Michaelee as well.  She was a member of the National Honor Society and she was on the student council for three years.

The coaches at WWCC were impressed with Michaelee's athleticism and speed when they saw her play this spring.  We know that she could easily transition to a center back or an outside defender for the Mustangs.  We also believe that she could use her soccer skills to benefit the Western Wyo team in a variety of different positions if she was called upon to do so.  We are so happy to have Michaelee join the WWCC Mustang Soccer family and wish her the best of luck both on and off of the field as she pursues her soccer and academic goals.
