Lexi Pintor a 2019-2020 WWCC Mustang

Lexi Pintor from Logan High School in Logan Utah is committed to come to Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs WY to play collegiate soccer for the Mustangs.

Lexi was a great student for the Grizzlies of Logan High.  Pintor was on the LHS Honor Roll for all four years.  Along with the Honor Roll, Lexi was also a member of the National Honor's Society both her senior and junior year.  Lexi was expressed some interest in studying Geology during her time at Western Wyoming.

Her playing career for Logan High had many accomplishments and successes on the field.  First, Lexi was a three time varsity soccer letter winner for the Lady Grizzlies.  While playing for LHS Lexi was part of the Region Championship teams in the fall of 2016 and again in the fall of 2018.  During her sophomore year the Grizzlies were UHSAA 3A State Finalists.  In the fall of 2015, Pintor's freshman campaign she was part of the 3A UHSAA State Championship team.

Pintor plays primarily as a midfielder.  Both as a defensive and attacking option.  She has also played and is comfortable playing as an outside defender.  At Western we think that she has the skill set to help us as a midfielder but could even help out the Mustang squad on the back line or as a forward.  Lexi's versatility will be a huge plus for the Mustangs.

We were impressed in seeing Lexi with her ability to hold the ball and possess in the midfield.  She uses her body well and combines that with quick decisions and fast feet to make not only keep the ball but to advance the play.  Pintor has a good shot from distance and often took the long free kicks for her team.

We wish Lexi the best of luck both on and off of the pitch while she wears the Red, White and Black for the Mustangs in the years to come.  Welcome to the Western Wyo Mustang Soccer family.
