Kaitlyn Pryor Back for Second Year at WWCC

A Nation Letter of Intent for collegiate soccer was signed by Kaitlyn Pryor of Layton Utah, a 2017 graduate of Northridge High, for Western Wyoming Community College.

Kaitlyn was a very productive member of the squad during her first season for the Mustangs.  Kaitlyn quickly established herself as a starter on the back line as an outside back.  During the fall 2017 season Kaitlyn had the following stats; 9 Shots, 6 Fouls, 22 Starts and 48 Halves Played.  Pryor was on the field for almost all of WWCC's record of 573 consecutive minutes without allowing a goal.  She was also on the field for all 10 of our shutouts during the 2017 season.

During the winter of 2017 and spring 2018 Kaitlyn has continued to improve herself as a player.  Including in the improvements her ability to get forward from an outside back and add some additional offensive skills.  Pryor was a starter in our spring scrimmages when WWCC recorded another 3 shutouts and only allowed 1 goal in 4 scrimmages played.

Kaitlyn excels as a student, she has maintained a 4.0 GPA during her freshman year.  She was named to the President's Honor Roll for both the fall 2017 and spring 2018 semesters.  She is on track to graduate with her Associates Degree in May of 2019.

Western hopes that Kaitlyn will continue to be an example of Good Person, Good Student and Good Athlete.  She volunteered for many community opportunities during her first year and was always willing to help out her teammates, team or the college as a whole.  Welcome back for a great sophomore year Kaitlyn.
