Lizzy Clark from Malad Idaho Signs with WWCC

Lizzy Clark a senior at Malad High in Malad ID has signed her National Letter of Intent to play college soccer at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs WY.

Lizzy plays as a forward and had a great career for the Malad Lady Dragons.  During her junior season, fall of 2016, she scored 15 goals and added 15 assists.  She has proven herself to be a prolific goal scorer and a great team player - setting up her teammates for their chances at the goal.  Lizzy was named to the Idaho State Journal All Area Honorable Mention team twice, both after her junior and freshman year.  Three times in her high school career the MHS soccer team finished in second place for the district title.

Clark also played club soccer for the Logan Lynx in Logan UT.  Lizzy has participated in the following tournaments; Park City, Cache Valley Cup, Utah Summer Games and the Wasatch Classic Soccer Tournament.

Academics are another area of strength for Lizzy Clark.  She maintains a near perfect GPA in her high school career.  She is a 4 year honor roll student.  Lizzy is an active member of the National Honor Society.

At Western we feel that Lizzy will add greatly to our 2018 attack and beyond.  She possesses the talent to work as an outside forward, outside midfielder, center mid or center forward.  Her ability to pass, create chances for herself and others and the skill of putting the ball into the net will make Lizzy a great asset to the Mustangs.  WWCC graduates a lot of their forward line from their 2nd best attacking year in program history - Kenzie Lucas, Madisyn Cantrell, Katelin Nielson, Brooke Foster and Britney Nisson have exhausted their eligibility and will be moving onto new schools, teams and adventures in the fall of 2018.  We are excited to have signed such a great person, student and soccer player to the Western Wyo Women's Soccer team, congrats to Lizzy and future as a Mustang.
